Formula E Burnout

FIA Formula E racing is getting ready to kick off its inaugural season in Beijing, China on September 13, 2014. While we wait for the first of these high-speed electric car races, sit back and enjoy this brief footage of driver Lucas di Grassi playing around with his Formula E car during a recent demonstration in Los Angeles.

As one YouTube commenter put it, “It’s like a huge R/C car. :(” While he put a frowny face next to that comment, we actually think it looks like a ton of fun. Also, we’re pretty sure that burning rubber disqualifies your car from being a “zero emissions” vehicle.
