2015 Porsche Boxster GTS
The latest variant of Porsche’s mid-engine roadster has been upgraded with a more powerful 330 horsepower engine, and an improved chassis. The new car gets a tuned-up version of its 3.4L 6-cylinder boxer engine, with an extra 15hp. A six-speed manual transmission is standard, the car is said to exceed a 174mph top speed, while the optional dual-clutch PDK seven-speed automatic will get you from 0-to-62mph in 4.7 seconds, shaving 0.3 seconds of the standard Boxster S with the PDK.
The Boxster GTS also comes with Porsche Active Suspension Management as standard equipment, and an optional sport chassis configuration that lowers the car by 20mm.
Exterior enhancements include special GTS front and rear fascias, blacked-out Bi-Xenon headlights, 20-inch Carrera S wheels, and a sport exhaust system with black tailpipes. Inside, you’ll find lush Alcantara wrapped around the steering wheel, on the headliner, center console and on inserts in the sport seats.
Pricing for the Boxster GTS starts at $73,500(USD), and it should be in dealers by Summer 2014.
