From the Vaults: 1968 Ford Mustang Commercial

This incredibly cheesy commercial for the then newly released 1968 Mustang is a far cry from today’s youth-oriented ad campaigns for Ford’s pony car. And while the cast of characters are clearly different, the marketing message is largely the same that it is today – driving a Mustang will automatically free you from your hum-drum life. We love the part where the old guy in the business suit pulls a Dukes of Hazzard maneuver to get into his convertible.
