Formula Offroad Hill Climbing in Norway

Turns out they don’t just slide their cars around on the snow in Norway. When the ground isn’t completely covered with the white stuff, they get together with their pals from Sweden, Finland and Iceland for some scandinavian sun and sand. In this clip, captured by Insane Racing, we get a look at some of the amazing, nearly vertical hillclimbs that Formula Offroad drivers do in their powerful vehicles.

Most of the time, the runs end in the vehicle flipping over and rolling back down the hill, but it’s still impressive to watch vehicles with enough power to climb such steep angles.

Basically, these things are just rollcages with a drivetrain.
