Ride Inside a 600hp+ Skyline R34 GT-R V-Spec

It’s illegal to import the Nissan Skyline into the U.S. because it doesn’t meet our safety and emissions standards. But that hasn’t stopped some people from figuring out ways to get the cars stateside. Many who drive Skylines push them to their limits, modding their engines and exhaust systems heavily to turn them into the rocketships on wheels that they’re capable of becoming.

Case in point, this mind- and eardrum-blowing POV footage shot from inside of a Skyline R34 GT-R V-Spec tearing up the streets and tunnels of Stockholm, Sweden. Not only are the sounds emitted by its modded 609hp engine enough to practically destroy whatever recording equipment they were using, the the guy behind the wheel is clearly a bit of a maniac.

We’re not recommending that you drive your car on public roads this way, but it’s certainly fun to see what a Skyline can do when tuned to its limits. We’d love to see what this car could do on a proper track.
