The BMW i8 in Action

We’ve seen ample images and promotional videos of the BMW i8, and even managed to walk around one up close and personal on more than one occasion. But this B-roll driving footage of the car gives us a chance to see the car as it takes to the road, devoid of the glossy music and voiceovers of other footage we’ve seen.

Since it’s a gas/electric hybrid, there are moments where where the i8 is as quiet as a mouse in a silent movie. But every now and then, you’ll hear its little 1.5L turbocharged 3-cylinder gas engine doing its part to propel the car along.

But what’s most impressive about the i8 is how it looks on the road. There’s no question that it will turn heads every time you see one – especially when in motion. It goes without saying that we can’t wait to get behind the wheel of one.
