Toyota’s new Sports Drive Logger, which goes on sale on June 2, 2014, allows drivers to capture detailed performance information, including GPS position, vehicle speed, engine revolutions, accelerator pedal stroke, steering angle, brake operation signals, and more in real time while driving. The latest update to the Playstation 3 racing game, Gran Turismo 6 adds an amazing “GPS Visualizer” feature to the game that integrates the data captured by the Sports Drive Logger into the game itself.

Drivers will be able to see their driving performance side-by-side with the actual driving footage alongside the GPS Visualizer virtual view. Essentially, the driver can see an accurate replay of their driving experience recreated inside the video game. Drivers can also compare their performance to real driving data of professional drivers to compare their driving actions such as brake and accelerator timings with your own.
