Urban Outlaw: The Story of a Rebel Porsche Customizer

Written by Kenny Hoeschen | April 8, 2014

Magnus Walker is a Porsche customizer who turned a hobby into an obsession then into a successful business. From a workshop in downtown Los Angeles, Magnus obsessively harvests fragments from donor 911s, grafting them onto vintage frames to create one-off automobiles with the spirit of Ferdinand Porsche but an ethos entirely his own.

Filmmaker Tamir Moscovici created this documentary that tells Walker’s story and his incredible collection of classic 911s with one of every year from 1964-1972 (he’s still hoping to get a ’73). Walker now does restorations and builds as a business.

Check out his site and maybe can wrangle one out of his garage for yourself.
