The Porsches of Benton Performance

Benton Performance is focused on the restoration, upgrade and enhancement of the Early 900 series and 356 Porsche. This short film by Heath Mattioli takes us inside the mind of Porsche expert John Benton, who has been restoring and racing the iconic German sports cars since 1984.

Benton’s respectful approach to modifying his vehicles is to minimize the impact on the original aesthetics of the cars, while improving performance and race-worthiness. His changes are often quite subtle from outside of the cars: lowering bodies, upgrading wheels and suspension, and meticulously tuning what’s under the hood.
