Citroen C-XR Concept

The new Citroen compact SUV concept which was teased a few days ago has been unveiled at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show. Known as the C-XR, the new compact SUV concept was created as the result of a partnership between Citroen and Chinese auto manufacturer Dongfeng.

The C-XR is shown in a silver, black and red finish with LED daytime running lights and 3D-effect taillights. It also has dual chrome exhaust tips connected to the 1.6-liter turbo gasoline engine with start/stop technology and an automatic transmission. In the front, the front bumper incorporates a honeycomb air intake flanked by vertical LEDs. The car sits on 17-inch wheels under its extended wheel arches.

The vehicle looks ready for production in our view and will likely land in the Chinese market before too long.
