Volkswagen Luxury Golf Edition Concept

Volkswagen is celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the VW Golf, in part, with the introduction of an upscale Golf concept car, the “Golf Edition” at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show. The Golf Edition boosts the otherwise understated Golf with a striking exterior paint finish along with new exterior details and a luxury interior. The car’s “Magic Morning” exterior is done in shimmering white that shines with gold overtones and includes matte chrome mirror caps, special badging and 19-inch premium alloy wheels.

On the interior, the Golf Edition concept is finished in two-tone black and white leather with diamond pattern stitching. Contrasting the leather upholstery is the genuine wood trim throughout with black piano accents and illuminated door sills.

We’d certainly choose the Golf R 400 over this concept, but if you prefer style over speed this Golf Edition would serve you well, assuming it ever goes into production.
