Airstrip Attack 5

We’ve always wanted to take our cars out on a runway to see how fast we can drive them flat out. If you’re curious to know what the experience is like, check out this awesome footage captured by Team English Racing at the recent Shift-S3ctor Airstrip Attack 5 race in Coalinga, CA. The clip includes footage from both inside and outside the cars as they gun it down the airstrip.

The 1/2 mile race features a wide variety of impressively tuned vehicles, with some attaining speeds over 220MPH. The 100 car competition has no horsepower limits, but instead breaks vehicles up into six categories of specialization, including AWD, FWD, RWD, naturally aspirated, BMW/AMG, and sedan classes.
