BMW M5 30th Anniversary 30 Jahre M5 Edition
BMW has unveiled the most powerful M5 to ever roll off their production line: the 30th Anniversary “30 Jahre M5” Edition. With an extraordinary 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine under the hood cranking out 600 horsepower and 516 lb.-ft. of torque, this sport sedan will be BMW’s most powerful M5 when it begins rolling off the line in July. That engine should send the new M5 from 0-to-60 mph in just 3.7 seconds.
Along with the Competition Package which comes standard and enhances cornering dynamics and tractability, adds a more aggressive suspension profile, and a remapped DSC, this special edition comes bi-color 20-inch alloy wheels with 265/35 ZR20 front and 295/30 ZR20 rear tires. Just 300 of this model will be built, each with the special Frozen Dark Silver paint and dark chrome accents. It will also sport special “30 Jahre M5” badges, so everyone will know you are hiding 600 horses under the hood.
The 30 Jahre M5 Edition will be priced at $138,275(USD) and the first 29 headed to the States will be sold through a special hotline to be revealed on BMW’s Instagram account.
