Superman’s Dodge Ram 2500 Charity Auction

This 2013 Ram 2500 Power Wagon was created in conjunction with the premiere of 2013’s Man of Steel movie. Built on the heavy duty truck platform, the truck has a ton of details that recall the legendary superhero and his portrayal in the Zack Snyder action flick.
To begin with, the Man of Steel Power Wagon has charcoal blue paint with red accents and a patterned wrap reminiscent of Superman’s suit as worn by Henry Cavill on screen. The glossy black roof is meant as a nod to Clark Kent’s well-coifed, jet black hair. The car also has some great Superman badging all around and inside, including a great Superman Man of Steel glyph on the front grille and included in the media system. The glyph is carried over to the front seats which have Custom Man of Steel GEONIC 3D mesh fabric inserts on pewter leather with radar red accent stitching. The interior also features upholstery in pewter leather and mesh, which will also remind the driver of Superman’s costume.
The Man of Steel Power Wagon is available on CharityBuzz with a current high bid of $47,500. But you’d better hurry because the auction ends today, May 7, 2014. The funds raised will go to support L.A. Family Housing, which helps families transition out of homelessness and poverty.
As Superman might say, “it’s not an ‘S’… on my world it means ‘towing capacity.'”
