Bentley Discusses Design in a Mulsanne Backseat

Bentley’s Luc Donckerwolke, Director of Design, and SangYup Lee, Head of Exterior Design discuss Bentley’s approach to designing cars to create a match between performance, technology, comfort, and bespoke styling. The two designers each rode in the luxurious back seat of a Bentley Mulsanne and not only shared their thoughts on design but also showed off the two integrated Apple iPads that are available in the luxury car.

Interestingly, the entire piece was shot using Apple iPhones for filming and edited entirely on the iPads in the back of the Mulsannes. We found it curious that neither designer sat behind the steering wheel of the car. Perhaps that was because the video was focused more on the overall design approach and intended to also highlight the connected iPads in the back seats. Of course, if you’re buying a $298,000 Bentley, you probably also have a driver.
