VW Teases GTI Vision Gran Turismo Concept

Gran Turismo 6 already has six different Volkswagen Golf GTI models available to drive, including and 1975 Golf GTI and a 2010 Golf R. But apparently VW’s designers weren’t happy with all those choices and are bringing a new GTI Vision Gran Turismo concept to the game. From the teaser video and image we’ve seen, it looks like the virtual GTI may be similar to the real-life version Design Vision GTI Concept we saw at the 2013 L.A. Auto Show.

Of course, the GTI Vision Gran Turismo Concept lives in the digital world, allowing the designers to take more leeway than in the real world. The teaser image looks very aggressive, with a very low roofline, a bold front splitter, sharp lines following the doors, and five-spoke alloy wheels. The color scheme is a deep gloss black with bold red and silver accents. If they align the specs with those of the Design Vision GTI Concept, we can expect a 503hp twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6 engine which will go from zero to 60 mph in less than 4 seconds.
