Monster Tajima Prepares to Defend Pikes Peak 2014

Nobuhiro “Monster” Tajima made his way to the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in Colorado Springs in 2013 with an all-electric Monster Sport E-Runner Pikes Peak Special and took home first place the electric vehicle class with a time of 9:46.530 over the 12.42 mile course. In fact, his time in the electric vehicle was quick enough to earn him fifth place overall. Najima is no stranger to Pikes Peak in electric or petrol vehicles, having competed there and placed many times over the past 25 years. The 64-year-old Tajima plans to continue to compete at Pikes Peak until the 2016 race commemorating the event’s 100th anniversary.
