Škoda Sending Yeti Xtreme Concept to Wörthersee

Auto enthusiasts and performance car fans head to Austria each May to attend Wörthersee, and in 2014 Škoda will be bringing an aggressive sport compact SUV to the show, the Yeti Xtreme Concept. The concept car shows off bold styling both inside and out, with a shocking matte-grey paint and contrasting yellow-green roof and wheel inserts. Inside, Škoda has created an interior with a rally car aesthetic with four Recaro sports seats each with four-point safety belts, and a “Super Sport” steering wheel with paddle shifters.
The car has a smallish powerplant, with a 1.8-liter 150hp engine powering the four-wheel drive system via a six-speed dual clutch transmission. 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) takes a gradual nine seconds with a top speed of about 120 mph. Apparently, Škoda isn’t looking to be first across the rally finish line with the Yeti Xtreme Concept.
