Caterham Seven Kobayashi Limited Edition

Caterham Cars asked one of the drivers on its F1 team, Kamui Kobayashi, to design a special edition Caterham Seven based on the production 250R model.  The car retains the 250R’s 1.6-liter Ford engine which produces 125hp and achieves a 0-to-100kmh (62mph) time of 5.9 seconds and a top speed of 112 mph.

The exterior of the car is styled to reflect Kobayashi’s green F1 car, with a high-gloss black paint and matte black sport stripes. The front wings and rear wing protectors are finished in carbon fiber infused with a unique Caterham green lacquer. Inside, the carbon fiber dash is also finished with the green lacquer and will be personally signed by Kobayashi. The sports seat is done in carbon fiber with green contrast stitching and a Kumai logo in the headrest.

The Kobayashi Edition will only be available in Japan and production is limited to ten models. The price is 6,000,000 Yen or about $59,000(USD).
