Self-described “automotive manipulator” Theophilus Chin seems to have an obsession with turning everyday cars into pickup trucks – a la the Chevy El Camino and Subaru BRAT. This time, Theo has taken the sporty little Audi TT and turned it into a pickup. Even he describes his creation as “wacky,” and we have to agree.

Still, it seems as if the small pickup truck market has all but dried up, so why not consider making a coupe that doubles as a utility vehicle? It’s not like their back seats and trunks are particularly spacious. Sure, there’s that little thing called “aerodynamics,” but if you’re buying something like this, it’s so you can carry stuff, not so you can race it on the track. Right? Right.
