2015 BMW X6 M Sport

BMW recently announced the 2015 edition of its X6 crossover SUV and, on the heels of that announcement, has revealed the M Sport edition of the vehicle. The X6 M Sport is a purely cosmetic upgrade to the 2015 X6 and consists of both exterior and interior modifications. On the exterior, the M Sport body kit has a new front bumper with oversized air dams, body-colored side skirts, and a new rear bumper including a functional diffuser. The dual exhaust tips are chrome for this edition and complement the 19-inch allow wheels and BMW signature kidney grilles.

Inside, the updates include power-adjustable sports seats for driver and front passenger along with a M Sport key fob, aluminum door sills, a M Sport three-spoke steering wheel, and an anthracite-colored headliner.

The powertrain packages are the same as that of the standard 2015 BMW X6: a 300 horsepower turbocharged 6-cylinder engine or a 4.4-liter V8 pushing out 445 horsepower. Either way, the car comes with an 8-speed automatic transmission and optional all-wheel drive. The M Sport comes standard with BMW’s self-leveling air suspension and Dynamic Damper control system.

Expect the vehicle to appear in United States showrooms in late 2014.
