A Ferrari 458 Speciale (from the Engine’s POV)

Written by Paul Strauss | June 16, 2014

Most of the time when we see car footage, it’s from the vantage point of the driver or possibly one of the front wheels. But in the case of a Ferrari, the most joyous soundling location is in the rear, in the engine bay. So when we came across this rear view video of a Ferrari 458 Speciale going for a test drive on a track, we just had to post it.

The roar of the engine is just spectacular, and it’s cool to see the track left behind this powerful Italian supercar. It’s too bad they had to stick that massive watermark in the middle of the video. We’d love to see more driving video shot from this perspective – especially during car races so we could see the other vehicles approaching and passing from behind.
