Rally Car Brake Failure Ends in Spectacular Crash

You’ll want to brace for impact for this one, as we’re pretty sure you’ll jump back from your screen when you see just how fast the drivers were going in this rally car when its brakes completely stopped functioning and they ran off the road. The accident occurred during the recent Rallye Haute-Senne, with driver Ludovic Laffineur and co-driver Dominique Verdiere inside.

Thankfully the team had proper safety gear, and the good fortune to run into a couple of protective hay bales instead of the concrete wall that laid beyond them. Instead of suffering major injuries, both occupants walked away shaken, but virtually unscathed. The car on the other hand, didn’t fare so well.
