First Videos of Koenigsegg One:1 in Action

The Koenigsegg One:1 is one of the past year’s most exciting hypercar announcements. This intimidating car has an incredible 1,361 horsepower, and weighs just 1361 kilograms (~3,000 pounds), which results in a 1:1 ratio of horsepower to kilograms. With a blistering top speed of somewhere around 270mph, it’s one of the fastest production vehicles ever made – if not THE fastest.

Up until now, all we’ve seen are still images and video of the car being made, but now we’ve got first ever video of the One:1 on the track. Both of the One:1 prototypes turned up at this week’s Goodwood Festival of Speed. In the video above, you’ll see a One:1 taking a drive on the Goodwood circuit, and in the video below from TheBHPProject, we have POV footage of the One:1 doing the hillclimb:

While we never get to see the One:1 unleash anywhere near its full potential, it’s still an incredibly impressive vehicle. And that sound. Wow.
