The Audi 80 General Lee

While the Dukes of Hazzard’s General Lee was portrayed by a 1969 Dodge Charger (or rather, an army of Dodge Chargers given the extreme torture they put them through), its iconic paint and decals are what really makes the car recognizable. But the idea of an Audi 80 General Lee makes virtually no sense – that is, until you watch this clip.

This little Audi 80 quattro General Lee was built by Sweden’s Martinsson Racing, and it’s got mad drift abilities. We’re not sure we’d want to jump over any police cars in this thing, but it certainly would smoke out Sheriff Roscoe P. Coltrane if he were chasing the Duke boys in it.
