Ride along as Mike Skeen flies up Pikes Peak in the 92nd running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. Driving a Hawk Performance Nissan GT-R, Skeen completed the 12.42-mile course in just 9:55.471, earning his team not only a win in the Pikes Peak Open class but Skeen himself won the Rookie of the Year for the event.

It’s difficult to imagine the concentration and nerve it takes to drive a high performance car at the edge of its ability and along thousand-foot drops for nearly 10 minutes, but Skeen flew up the 4,720 foot ascent on his way to the winner’s circle.
