2015 MINI Paceman John Cooper Works
The 2015 MINI Paceman John Cooper Works edition is MINI’s latest entry into the premium compact sports coupe segment. MINI’s Sports Activity Coupé again pushes the performance of a tiny two-door coupe, with an all-wheel drive drivetrain, a 1.6-liter four-cylinder 218 horsepower turbocharged engine, and the choice of a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission.
MINI has refreshed the styling for the new Paceman also, with a aggressive proportions, large front headlights, a hexagonal radiator grille, extended side doors with frameless windows, and a (optional) contrasting roof and rear spoiler. The rear windows contour towards the back of the Paceman, accentuating the sporty styling. The new JCW edition is available in new Piano Black Exterior finished in a high-gloss, deep black that highlights the car’s styling and is extended to include accents that would otherwise be finished in chrome like the headlight surrounds, rear lights, the front wheel arches and the optional roof rails.
Two new colors are also available for the Paceman in 2015: Jungle Green metallic and Midnight Grey metallic. And, of course, MINI buyers can choose from a variety of other customizations like contrasting mirrors and racing stripes. Expect sales to begin in the U.S. this summer.
