Inside the Corvette Assembly Plant

The C7 Corvette is arguably one of the boldest and most technologically sophisticated designs that Chevrolet has ever applied to a production car. In this clip from TestDriven, we get a behind the scenes tour of Chevrolet’s Bowling Green, Kentucky plant to see how the 2014 Corvette Stingray comes together.

We always enjoy these sort of assembly line videos, which are devoid of music and voiceovers, and focus on the work at hand. Our favorite part is watching the top half of the car mated with its drivetrain to form a completed vehicle. It makes us wonder what other fun bodies you could graft the ‘Vettes awesome drivetrain to. And we need one of those multi-lug nut wrenches in our garage.
