A Day in the Life of an Audi Driver at Le Mans

This stylized video was put together to showcase the debut of the Audi R18 at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Audi driver Allan McNish discusses all the elements that go into building a successful team to compete at Le Mans, something Audi has certainly had success with – finishing 1 and 2 in the 2014 event. Unfortunately, McNish did not have such luck in the 2011 event, being knocked out of the race (without serious injury) after a major collision with a Ferrari.

The ad was put together by filmmaker Chris Curtis with music composed by the very talented Chris Reed. It was originally done as a 3D video and what we’re seeing here is the “left eye” 2D version of the film.
