Custom-built 1972 Sam Foose Pantera for Sale

Legendary car builder Sam Foose designed this one-off wedge car back in 1972. Based on a De Tomaso Pantera chassis and drivetrain, the car was meant to reflect the styling of the classic 1968 Alfa Romeo Carabo concept car. Foose began with the Pantera, but replaced the engine with a 351 Cleveland Ford engine along with a 5-speed manual transmission and hydraulic clutch. The car’s styling speaks for itself and if you want a car that screams early 1970s style, this may be just the one to add to your garage.

There’s no indication of how the car runs or what it’s like to drive on the roads. Rest assured, however, that if you drive it in your neighborhood, no one will know what the heck you’ve got. The asking price is $55,000(USD), but it’s been available for at least a couple of years and the seller states he will consider reasonable offers.
