While we’ve yet to find out the full specs on the performance tuned Ford Mustang GT350 SVT, we do know it’s going to be one bad-ass pony car. And with competition like the Dodge Challenger Hellcat and Camaro Z/28, Ford has their work cut out for them. But instead of just worrying about how fast their car can go in a straight line, Ford wants its new Mustang to be more than just a drag racer. And what better place to test out the handling abilities of the new car than on the Nürburgring’s Nordschleife circuit?

In this spy clip, we get a look at what is quite possibly the Mustang GT350 SVT tearing up the track, pushing out some beautifully deep exhaust notes along the way. Despite the car’s camo covering, if you look carefully, you can see this variant has a ventilated hood, a large rear diffuser and quad-exhaust to help with both performance and styling.

The GT350 SVT is expected to sit above the GT Premium, between the Boss 302 and GT500 Shelby Mustangs, though the full performance lineup has yet to be confirmed by Ford.
