BMW Drifts Five M235is Through the Streets

BMW has put together a team of the five of the best drift drivers in the world to show off their hot M235i coupe. We had a quick peek at the team before as they began working on the commercial. Now the full commercial has been revealed, with five identical M235i’s decked out in Melbourne Red hooning through the streets of South Africa. The team began by surreptitiously blocking off a roundabout while pedestrians and diners went about their business, only to find the traffic circle was about to be taken over by smoking tiers and screaming exhausts.

Check out the “making of” video below as stunt coordinator Riley Harper works with the drivers, Rhys Millen, Samuel Hübinette, Conrad Grunewald, Rich Rutherford, and Dai Yoshihara, to prepare for the event.
