MINI Cooper S vs. Go-Kart

The MINI Cooper has been known throughout its history as having incredible “go-kart-like” handling and it truly is incredible how the tiny car – with its low center of gravity, relatively small wheels, short wheelbase, and tires pushed out to the car’s four corners – can zip through tight corners with ease.

Crank and Piston decided to see just how comparable the MINI Cooper S is to a go-kart by pitting them head-to-head on a go-kart track at the Dubai Kartdrome. Although all we have is the teaser video at this point, the race will be done as a one-lap shootout between the two vehicles on the Kartdrome’s 1.2-kilometer track. Place your bets on who will win the final event. We’re leaning towards putting our money on the go-kart, which is built for this track, but you never know what the MINI might pull off.
