BWM Drifting: Reverse POV

Hop aboard this BMW E36 for a thrilling ride with drifter Julian Dumay. The minute long clip, captured by Jacob Herzog of Takeover TV puts you right there among the tire smoke and growling engines of three drift cars as they tear up the Mayhem Course during a recent Sonoma Drift event. The cars tailing Dumay are driven by Donovan Brockway (in the red E30) and Joe Tardiff (in the blue S13).

What I love about the clip is the rarely seen reverse camera angle, which gives us a great view of the cars racing behind, and a real sense of the thrill of being there. The cameraman’s enthusiasm doesn’t hurt either.

I can’t recommend enough turning up the volume and watching this clip in full-screen mode for optimum effect.
