2015 Toyota 86 14R60 Limited Edition

Toyota has announced a limited-edition sports coupe based on Toyota’s TRD Griffon Concept shown back in 2012: the 86 14R60. Showing off aggressive lines, including a large rear spoiler, rear diffuser, front splitter and side skirts, along with a carbon fiber roof, just 100 of the two-door sports coupes will be built.

Largely a cosmetic enhancement to the stock GT86, the car is fitted with lightweight Alcantara seats, carbon fiber trim, TRD branded sill plates and special floor mats. It’s finished with a center-mounted dual exhaust and 18-inch, five-spoke forged magnesium wheels. Under the hood, the car has a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that pushes out 200 horsepower and 151 lb-ft. of torque, the same as its Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ brethren, though it does have an upgraded air filter, air intakes, and oil cooler, which should make it happier at higher revs.

The 86 14R60 will be available with pricing starting at ¥6,300,000 (~$58,270 USD).
