Hennessey’s 717 HP 2015 Ford Mustang GT

Hennessey Performance must have taken a look at the 2015 Ford Mustang and said one thing: “it needs more power.” After all, that’s what they do. Beginning with the Mustang GT, which rolls off the line with 435 horses under the hood, the aftermarket tuners at Hennessey boosted the car’s 5.0-liter V8 engine to a total output of 717hp. This means the car will move from 0-to-100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.6 seconds.

Hennessey gets there by adding a 2.9-liter supercharger system, a throttle body upgrade, an HPE air induction system, and upgraded fuel injectors and fuel pump. You can also choose to have them install CarbonAero bodywork, like the new front splitter, side sills, rear diffuser and rear lip spoiler to complete the package. Hennessey says they will be building just 500 of these beasts, so you’d better “pony up” your money soon. Pricing starts at $60,000 (USD), including the base Mustang GT.
