German Special Customs Teases BMW i8 iTRON

Aftermarket tuning specialists German Special Customs has released the first images of their upcoming BMW i8 styling package, which they call the iTRON. The i8 already has impressive performance numbers, thanks to its hybrid drivetrain and lightweight design, but if you want to make your new i8 look more aggressive on the road, GSC is looking to deliver.

The new package include a new front bumper with larger air intakes and a new front splitter, recrafted side skirts, a new rear bumper with new exhaust ports, and integrated LED daytime headlights. They’ve also fitted the car with 22-inch wheels, which look to be about as large as will fit on the i8, resulting in a more powerful stance. GSC isn’t touching the i8’s hybrid drivetrain or suspension as all the mods are purely cosmetic, leaving the i8 with the solid performance it’s already got coming off the production line.
