Kirk and Spock Stump for the New VW e-Golf

Whether or not you agree that electric vehicles should be considered the cars of the future, Volkswagen brought in two science fiction legends to pitch their new all-electric 2015 Volkswagen e-Golf. A German Star Trek fan goes for the ride of his life with Captain Kirk at the helm of the 155hp, battery-powered car and, when they happen upon the futuristic VW XL1, who happens to be behind the wheel? None other than Mr. Spock himself, Leonard Nimoy.

It seems the Volkswagen group likes their sci-fi tropes, having brought Nimoy together with the new Mr. Spock, Zachary Quinto for an Audi ad last year.
