The Rocket-Powered VW Bug

I have no idea what’s going on in this video clip from the madmen of Hot Brass and Bullets. For starters, we get an old WWII military vehicle firing bullets from its machine gun turret. What happens next is both extraordinary and extraordinarily odd. Keep your eyes on the background and you’ll see an old Volkswagen Beetle which has been stripped down and fitted with a pair of rocket motors. With 1500 pounds of force each, the two motors propel the Bug from 0-to-100 mph in less than 2 seconds.

I wonder what the car looked like after it completed the run.
