The 2014 Red Bull Global RallyCross series just wrapped up in Las Vegas this past week. While he and his Hyundai Veloster Turbo ended up with a did-not-finish during the race, driver Rhys Millen did manage to provide a first-person tour of the course for GoPro prior to the event kicking off. What makes the footage particularly enjoyable is the fact that it was shot using GoPro’s new Hero4 Black cameras, so you get to see the whole thing in glorious 4K resolution.

Throughout the clip, Rhys provides a guided narration of the course, explaining the proper shift and braking points, with views of the Las Vegas strip in the background as he tears from pavement into the dirt and back again.

They should consider keeping this course open year round so anyone could take a ride around it in a rally car. I’d pay good money for that experience.
