MINI Returns to Dakar with Eight MINI ALL4 Racers

After winning the top three spots in cars category in the 2014 Dakar rally, MINI and champion driver Joan “Nani” Roma are returning to defend their titles in the 2015 Dakar rally. This time MINI is bringing along eight teams and eight custom-built ALL4 Racing MINIs.

The eight MINI teams will compete in the custom MINIs built to take on the grueling track across South America. Each All4 Racing MINI is fitted with a turbocharged 3.0-liter diesel engine that outputs 310 horsepower and 516 lb-ft. of torque. The 2015 route will cross Argentina, Bolivia and Chile and traverse nearly 6,000 miles of tough terrain.
