Police Drift Car vs. Street Drift Car

The setup for this video reads much like a scene from a Need for Speed Hot Pursuit video game, but it’s still a bunch of fun to watch. Sergio Hanazono from Drift Show and Jonathan Neves of Drift SC are the driving stars of this clip, in which a couple of thieves in a drift car are pursued by a cop car up a mountain. The backdrop for the video is the Serra do Rio do Rastro, one of the world’s most dangerous and daunting roads, loaded with tight hairpins, and steep elevation changes.

While there are certainly more precise ways to drive up a mountain, there aren’t many that make as much smoke and noise as this.
