Nissan 45th Anniversary GT-R Hits Japan

Nissan unveiled the 2015 Nissan GT-R recently and, alongside it, the limited edition 45th Anniversary GT-R available only in Japan. Only 45 of the limited edition models will be produced, with a unique paint finish Nissan calls Silica Brass (the same color seen on the 2001 R34 Skyline M-Spec). The model also comes with a commemorative emblem on the center console along with a numbered plate in the engine compartment. The models will be available on a first-come, first-served basis beginning in January for a price of ¥10,787,040 (~$91,000 USD).

In the video clip below, Hiroshi Tamura, Nissan’s GT-R Chief Product Specialist, looks back at the recent developments of the GT-R and where the company is moving in with the car and what areas the team focused on improving in the new 2015 model.
