2015 MINI John Cooper Works
The awesome new John Cooper Works edition of the MINI Cooper we saw as the John Cooper Works Concept at the North American International Auto Show has finally become official.
The new JCW has been updated in a lot of ways from the previous generations and looks more than ready to take on the streets. With a new front end anchored by big grille and surrounded by a hood intake and front vents, it seems poised to eat up the track as well. With an 2.0-liter turbocharged engine that puts out 231 horsepower, this car’s Cooper S little sister will be left behind with its mere 189hp.
The car also has a reworked suspension, retuned power steering, a sports exhaust, and Brembo brakes to maximize performance. Inside, it comes with a perforated leather steering wheel, bucket seats, stainless-steel pedals, and an anthracite roof liner. And don’t forget you can outfit your new JCW with some racing flair and JCW Tuning accessories also. No word from MINI yet on pricing or availability in the U.S.
