Rinspeed’s Autonomous Budii Heading to Geneva

The design and coachbuilding group at Rinspeed will be bringing a new autonomous vehicle to the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, the Budii. Rinspeed describes the new concept car as a “friend on wheels,” with the ability to learn each day based on its environment and experiences. That will allow the Budii to continually get better at navigating complex driving situations. The demure car is based on a small, electric city car and is intended to redefine the relationship between the driver and the automobile.

With its ability to learn each day and improve, the only two questions remain: when will the Budii become sentient. And when will Rinspeed renamed Skynet?
