Jeep Turns Vancouver Street into a Mountain Stream

To show off the capabilities of their 2015 Cherokee, Jeep pulled off an impressive feat, transforming a street in downtown Vancouver, Canada into a rocky mountain road. For a commercial spot called River in the City,” the company took unsuspecting drivers on a GPS detour onto a city street that was covered with boulders, rocks and sand to simulate an off-road driving environment.

The transformation took over 1 million pounds of natural materials, as well as over 400,000 pounds of artificial snow, and a stream made from 250,000 gallons of water. The set even included a couple of wolves watching over the festivities.
