Mercedes-Benz unveiled its futuristic F 015 Luxury in Motion concept at the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show and the car contains some pretty incredible technical features to show off. Of course, the F 015’s profile cannot be ignored, with a gradually sloping front windscreen that barely seems to drop off to the rear, a bold front grille, and a rear taillight messaging system unlike anything else (other than in rear wipers). Inside, the car’s interior is loaded with future technology like the intelligent door panels, an electronic dashboard that spans the entire front of the vehicle and includes gesture controls and eye tracking functions to minimize distractions on the road.
The car also has four rotating chairs that swing out 30 degrees to allow easy access via the front doors or the rear suicide doors, all of which are opened electronically. The concept is powered by a plug-in hydrogen fuel cell system that provides a range of 684 miles thanks to a combination of the 5.4 kg hydrogen tanks and the lithium-ion batteries.
