Volvo Bringing Luxury S60 Inscription to U.S.

While I expect the new S60 Cross Country crossover will likely be a better seller in the United States, Volvo also took to the stage at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show to introduce a new luxury sedan for the American market, the Volvo S60 Inscription.

Volvo hasn’t yet released many details on the Inscription, other than to say that the larger version of the S60 is designed to provide additional rear passenger space. That seems to be achieved through a slightly longer wheelbase. The sedan is also expected to be finished with more luxurious interior finishes, positioning it to compete against the top luxury sedans. We’re sure to hear more of the S60 Inscription in the coming weeks, with deliveries to begin in the second quarter of 2015.
