Ford Teases New 2016 Focus RS on the Track

Ford will be fully unveiling the all-new 2016 Ford Focus RS on February 3, 2015. In the meantime, the company has released a teaser trailer showing the new sports-tuned hot hatch zipping around the test track. Unfortunately, it’s tough to see much of the car as it’s mostly just a blur, but the auto industry is abuzz with hints of what’s to come.

Not only will the new Focus RS be coming to the United States, but it’s rumored to have 330 horsepower or more thanks to the same turbocharged 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine found in the new Mustang. And that powerplant looks like it will be paired with an all-wheel drive drivetrain and likely a six-speed manual transmission.

I guess we’ll have to wait until February 3 to get the whole story on this promising new sports sedan that will finally be available stateside.
