This Is an Aston Martin Vantage Rally Car

Aston Martins are lovely sculptures that also happen to be rather nice sports and luxury cars. They’ve tackled a lot of tracks and even more rivieras, but they’ve tackled a regrettably small number of rally stages. They’re really not designed with awesome, sideways-in-the-dirt action in mind, but that doesn’t stop crazy people from trying, right?

Right! That’s exactly what Mäkelä Auto-Tuning did. This is a Aston V8 Vantage GT4 that has been modded to R-GT spec, meaning that it’s going to be taking on dirt and snow stages with cars like the Porsche 911. This is the sort of bizarre lunacy that I love, and I’m always happy to see that people with more resources are as crazy as me.
